Crypto exchange WEEX said on Sept. 8 that it will attend TOKEN2049 Singapore as a platinum sponsor for the third consecutive year. The event is scheduled for Oct. 7-8 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. WEEX said it plans to showcase new products and the latest progress of WEEX AI during the conference. The company will exhibit at booths PB1-28 and PB1-23, with its presentation aimed at traders, developers, partners, and community members. The announcement outlines WEEX’s event presence, venue location, booth numbers, and the groups it intends to engage during the two-day gathering.

WEEX has opened pre-registration for the second season of its AI Trading Hackathon, branded "AI Wars II: Age of Algorithms," with the event running from Sept. 3 to Oct. 12, 2026. The exchange is shifting the format from the first season’s focus on AI model and strategy testing to a live "AI vs. Human" trading contest in real market conditions. Participants can join either Team AI or Team Human and compete across five rounds, with standings determined by PnL% performance. WEEX said the event is open to AI developers, quantitative traders, Web3 builder teams, and individual participants worldwide. Users who choose Team AI can connect an AI Agent through API-based automated trading, while Team Human participants will trade manually. The competition carries a total prize pool of 600,000 USDT, including a 100,000 USDT main pool, a 70,000 USDT pool for new users, a 300,000 USDT task pool, and a 30,000 USDT AI elite performance award. WEEX is also offering a separate 100,000 USDT early-bird pool for the first 20,000 users who pre-register. In addition, the event includes dedicated AI leaderboards covering return rate, risk control, trading volume, profitability, and winning streaks.

WEEX said it will appear at Coinfest Asia 2026 as a Silver Sponsor and set up a dedicated WEEX AI Trading Lounge during the event, which is scheduled for Aug. 20-21 at Melasti Beach in Bali, Indonesia. Rather than using a standard exhibition booth, the company plans to host the activation inside a standalone ocean-view suite lounge, where attendees will be able to take part in AI trading competitions and other in-person activities. According to the event plan, the lounge will feature an always-on AI quick match format, allowing participants to join 20-minute sessions throughout the event. Several formal tournaments are also scheduled each day, with a daily Top 3 determined by PNL rankings. WEEX said all competitions will run on demo accounts and will not involve real-money trading. Beyond the contests, the lounge will also function as a networking space for traders, Web3 founders, KOLs and industry partners. The company added that on-site interactions will include WEEX merchandise and prize draws. Registration is already open through Luma, and entry requires both a completed RSVP and a valid Coinfest Asia festival ticket.
